Rendezvous: In vivo Electro, July 1
Born in 1965 in Cannes, Christian Rizzo began his artistic career in Toulouse where he put together a rock band and created a clothing line before studying art at the Villa Arson in Nice and unexpectedly branching out into dance.
In the 1990s, he performed for several contemporary choreographers, sometimes creating soundtracks or costumes for them as well. He performed with Mathilde Monnier, Hervé Robbe, Mark Tompkins, Georges Appaix, and with other artistic approaches with Vera Mantero, Catherine Contour, Emmanuelle Huynh, and Rachid Ouramdane.
In 1996, he created the association fragile and presented performances, danced objects, and commissioned projects for fashion and the visual arts. Since then, over 30 productions have been created in addition to his educational activities. Christian Rizzo teaches at art schools in France and abroad, as well as in structures devoted to contemporary dance.
